Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production support activities for critical banking/financial applications
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and issue resolution
- Perform hands-on development, debugging, and enhancements in COBOL applications
- Manage incident, problem, and change management cycles
- Ensure system stability, performance, and uptime in production environments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for release and deployment activities
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions
- Support batch processing, job scheduling, and backend operations
- 8–15 years of IT experience with strong Application Support/Tech Lead background
- Solid experience in:
- COBOL programming
- Solaris/Unix environments
- Sybase database
- Experience in production support and incident management
- Exposure to banking or financial services applications
- Strong understanding of SDLC, support cycles, and ticketing tools
- Ability to work in a client-facing, fast-paced environment
- Experience with legacy system modernization or migration
- Knowledge of batch job processing tools (like Autosys/Control-M)
- Familiarity with ITIL processes
