What You’ll Do
- Architect and optimize innovative remanufacturing frameworks for specialized high-pressure hydraulic diesel injection units and advanced common rail delivery systems.
- Champion comprehensive application engineering initiatives for designated port fuel injection systems and strategic client program portfolios.
- Investigate complex product performance anomalies, managing everything from internal testing deviations and specialized flow audits to real-world field performance events.
- Lead cross-functional root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action workflows to swiftly eliminate technical issues and implement preventive measures.
- Synthesize clear, professional technical documentation, including comprehensive failure investigation findings, product audit summaries, and rigorous engineering updates.
- Steer collaborative engineering stand-ups, gemba walks, and strategic program reviews to deliver transparent status updates to all operational stakeholders.
- Maximize production throughput and product quality by supplying crucial technical expertise to plant manufacturing and supply chain personnel.
- Interface directly with internal evaluation laboratories, quality assurance specialists, and strategic tier-one components vendors to rapidly resolve complex hardware challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement paradigms that maximize the resilience, durability, and on-road performance of core fuel delivery technologies.
- Education: University Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.
- Experience: 5 to 20 years of proven success within application engineering, product validation, or advanced product support environments.
- Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on expertise spanning the design, validation testing, and manufacturing methodologies of diesel common rail fuel injection infrastructure.
- Design & Analysis Tools: Proficient command of 3D SolidWorks for modeling internal fuel system components, paired with absolute clarity in generating technical drawings utilizing Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated capabilities executing root cause analyses on complex mechanical or fluid systems, driving issues from initial discovery through to formal corrective action implementation.
- Communication & Collaboration: Elite written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of translating complex technical concepts seamlessly to cross-functional teams, suppliers, and operational leadership.
- Execution Mentality: A strong sense of project ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and a structured approach to managing validation setups, sequence planning, and concurrent deadlines.

- Competitive Base Salary: $95,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with specialized technical experience and skill level.
