The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a variety of small animals, primarily dogs, in a consulting capacity. Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients seeking advice and consultation on animal health and wellness.
- Perform routine check-ups and physical examinations to assess the health of animals.
- Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions in small animals.
- Provide advice on the appropriate care, feeding, and general maintenance of animals to ensure their optimal health and wellbeing.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of animal conditions, treatments, and progress.
- Educate pet owners on the importance of preventive care, including regular vaccinations and check-ups.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in animal health and veterinary science.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for animals.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- A degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary or animal healthcare setting.
- Extensive knowledge of animal health and wellness, particularly in relation to small animals and dogs.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health conditions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to pet owners.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in the use of veterinary software and technology.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
