Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field and 5 year of professional experience.
3 years of experience in technical leadership with a focus on AI engineering, software development, or a related field.
Experience with scripting languages and tools such as Python
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
Desired Skills
Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Math, Physics or a related field
Experience AI Engineering discipline and familiarity with Lockheed Martin's AI initiatives
Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab)
Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization
Experience with large language models, natural language processing, computer vision, or other AI applications
Familiarity with model interpretability, explainability, and transparency
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $132,900 - $234,370. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
