As a Mechanical Engineer Sr., you will:
Generate and release design disclosure drawings & models as well as revisions using CAD software (CREO)
Work under the direction of other mechanical engineers to research, design, analyze, and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems including mechanisms and ordnance
Support technical trade studies and design maturation efforts in order to optimize Aeroshell parts in regards to requirements, weight, and producibility
Participate in hardware defect/issue resolution and develop solutions to technical problems of varying complexity while assuring sound technical content and timely execution
Develop, review, and maintain engineering documents, specifications, and technical analyses necessary to support product build and testing activities
Create technical presentations and write whitepapers supporting design reviews and customer provided hardware acceptance
Collaborate with manufacturing personnel on design for manufacturing and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Basic Qualifications
Experience in Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline with knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts and processes
Experience utilizing Creo software and/or similar experience
Ability to perform Foundational skills performing GD&T
Ability to work in a reciprocal and team-based environment
Willingness to travel when required.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
