- Job Description (JD): Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled ADMS Engineer to lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the GE Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GE-ADMS version 3.16 or higher, a strong foundation in power engineering, and deep technical expertise in Windows OS, enterprise security, and outage management systems. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain GE ADMS (v3.16 or higher) in enterprise environments. Ensure system stability, performance, and security across Windows-based platforms. Configure and manage essential services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Internet Information Services (IIS). Automate Windows Server configuration and management using PowerShell scripting, especially in cloud environments with Windows VMs. Implement and manage endpoint protection, account policies, and enterprise security baselines. Set up and maintain logging and monitoring systems to ensure visibility and compliance. Manage secure access and communications using SSH protocols, certificate-based authentication, Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), and Just-In-Time (JIT) access controls. Support and optimize Outage Management System (OMS) workflows and integrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and operation of ADMS and EMS platforms. Document technical procedures, configurations, and maintenance activities. Provide technical support during commissioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting phases. Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience deploying ADMS and EMS platforms for a product vendor. Proven experience with GE ADMS implementation, specifically version 3.16 or higher. Strong knowledge of Windows OS administration and system-level troubleshooting. Experience configuring Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IIS. Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and server management. Proficiency in SSH, SSL/TLS certificates, RDP. Experience with endpoint protection, account policies, security baselines, and logging/monitoring. Experience with Outage Management Systems (OMS) and SCADA integration. Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and monitoring. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to distribution management. Understanding of cybersecurity best practices in utility environments. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
