TEKsystems is currently looking to hire an Active Directory Administrator to support US Army Corps of Engineers to service the enterprise in an Azure Active Directory environment to troubleshoot tickets, integration and configuration of Microsoft Exchange efforts, and create and implement group policy objects at a server level.
NOTE: This position is 100% Fully Remote / Work from Home position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the administration of Microsoft 365 to include Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, Teams, and license management/assignment
Serve as the Domain Administrator for the on-premises Microsoft Active Directory forests/domains
Support Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10 in a multi-domain Active Directory environment
Effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues
Supervise the Installation, configuration, and optimization of IT systems
Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents, engineer permanent solutions, and coordinate implementation. Complete After-Action Reports as needed
Oversee the administration, maintenance, and support of email security gateways
Ensure server systems are monitored to have the latest operating system patches, security updates
Follow Change Management process for all changes to production systems, including documenting all changes made to systems
Perform implementation tasks, related to Microsoft 365 and other cloud applications, including: configuration, integration, and implementation
Requirements:
This is a Contract position based out of Reston, VA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.

Requirements:
- Position requires an Active DoD Secret Clearance and Security
- Experience supporting Enterprise Active Directory environments.
- Previous administration of Microsoft 365 to include Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, Teams, and license management/assignment
- Strong understanding of and knowledge of working with a complex Active Directory, LDAP, and PKI and the requirement of strictly following standards, procedures and processes.
- Previous management/leadership experience
- Bachelor's and nine (9) years or more experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Preferred to have a Cloud certification, i.e. AZ-900 or Cloud , but open to any.
