Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Ab Initio.
- Build and support data lakes, data warehouses, and large-scale data platforms.
- Work with AWS services such as Glue, S3, and Athena for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
- Lead the design and implementation of data integration frameworks and best practices.
- Perform data modeling (dimensional modeling, OLAP, denormalized structures).
- Ensure data quality, governance, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Support both strategic data initiatives and ad-hoc data analysis requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
- 10 years of experience in data engineering with strong Ab Initio expertise (must-have).
- Strong proficiency in SQL (must-have).
- Hands-on experience with AWS (Glue, S3, Athena or equivalent cloud ETL tools).
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines in cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and big data ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Hadoop/MapReduce or similar distributed data platforms.
- Experience with data modeling and database design (relational & NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
