The Opportunity
Our fast-paced Adobe Firefly Foundry team operates at the forefront of Adobe's Generative AI strategy, with high autonomy, high impact, and high visibility with executives. We create cutting-edge Generative AI products and platform services. Join us as we invent new ways for millions of people to express themselves and transform their businesses with Generative AI.
All 2026 Adobe interns will be co-located hybrid. This means that interns will work between their assigned office and home. Interns will be based in the office where their manager and/or team are located, where they will get the most support to ensure collaboration and the best employee experience. Managers and their organization will determine the frequency they need to go into the office to meet priorities.
What You'll Do
What you do during this internship will depend on your interests and strengths.
Expect your activities to include some of the following:
Rapidly spin up prototypes that explore the commercial viability of capabilities invented by Adobe research teams.
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
Design and develop intuitive, responsive, and performant frontend applications.
Improve prototypes and products by empathetically listening to feedback from customers and colleagues.
Evaluate cutting-edge GenAI models.
What You Need To Succeed
Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience required with an expected graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027
Strong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skills
Previous related experience in software engineering (applicable coursework, projects, internships, etc.)
Proficiency and experience with JavaScript or Python
Understanding of how large language models and diffusion models are trained and operate, including trade-offs made during training and inference.
Familiar with the software development lifecycle - designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining web and mobile apps
Results-oriented, with ability and interest in learning new technologies and adapting quickly to new requirements and environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.
Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May-September
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
