Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program/Designated Coordinator to oversee and manage specialized programs within our organization. This role requires a strong background in program development, management, and relationship building, particularly working with individuals with developmental disabilities. The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring program quality, compliance, and effective service delivery while fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, supervisory experience, and a passion for social work and behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Manage daily program operations, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Supervise staff and direct service providers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community agencies, and stakeholders to promote collaborative service delivery.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts to support behavioral health goals and individual service plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, program activities, and compliance reports.
- Lead program development initiatives to enhance service quality and expand community outreach efforts.
- Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed in accordance with organizational protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in social services or related fields; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong background in program development and program management within social work or behavioral health settings.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent relationship management skills to foster partnerships with clients, families, staff, and community organizations.
- Administrative experience including budgeting, documentation, and compliance reporting.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices related to developmental disabilities.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a compassionate approach to client care.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- A 4 year degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full time work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or;
- an associate degree in a field related to human services, education or health and two years of full time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or;
- a diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities

Pay: $25.00 per hour
