Responsibilities: - Act as a central point of contact for information security in the business - Provide proactive information security consulting to the business and technology teams, covering areas such as infrastructure security, data security, network architecture, and user access management - Serve as an expert in Capital One's information security capabilities, solutions, policies, procedures, and standards - Promote the use of security capabilities and solutions to integrate security into development processes - Manage and escalate cyber security risks - Provide support on special information security topics for the business - Update executive leadership on the overall information security health and risk environment - Anticipate and meet the objectives and needs of the business - Provide security consulting for securing marketing technologies and SaaS integrations About You: - You have a desire to work in a fast-moving, modern computing environment - You are passionate about securing modern computing platforms - You have a strong desire to continuously learn about new technologies - You have excellent conceptual thinking and communication skills - You can work well with minimal supervision - You have leadership and interpersonal skills, and can effectively collaborate with a diverse range of people and roles - You are calm and clear-headed under pressure and can maintain confidentiality - You understand strategic business objectives and can drive results towards those objectives Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification - At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology - At least 2 years of experience providing guidance or oversight of security concepts - At least 2 years of experience in threat modeling, security risk assessments, or security architecture reviews Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree - 1 year of experience in securing a public cloud environment (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) - 1 year of experience in cloud patch management - Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - Experience in offensive or defensive security techniques - Experience in a regulated environment Salary Information: - New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $197,400 - $225,300 - San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $209,200 - $238,700 Benefits: Capital One offers a comprehensive and inclusive set of health, financial, and other benefits that support your total well-being.
