Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, ensuring smooth seating flow.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and answering inquiries.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed to enhance guest services.

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help team members and guests alike.
