Job Summary:
Amazon is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer for their Alexa Smart Home Cameras team. The role involves leading the technical aspects of backend services that enhance customer experiences with Alexa-enabled devices and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to innovate products and features.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the technical aspects of core Cameras backend services that power the customer experience on Echo, FireTV devices, Alexa App.
• Engage with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement and bring to market innovative products and features.
• Be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred:
• 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
