Job Summary:

Addison Group is partnering with a leading client in the manufacturing space to fill a critical leadership role over their data function. The Data Engineering Leader will oversee a team of data engineers, data scientists, and architects, bringing structure and forward-thinking leadership to the team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with the CIO

• Oversee a team of data engineers, data scientists, and architects

• Set technical direction

• Provide real-time feedback

• Mature the team’s practices

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5 years as a Data Engineer

• 5 years leading data professionals

• Strong communicator with executive presence; able to push back professionally when needed

• Experience with at least one of the following systems: SAP, Snowflake, or Salesforce

• Deep ETL experience — you’ll help select and implement a formal ETL tool

• Familiar with dbt for building data pipelines

• Understands Agile methodology — ideally has helped drive Agile adoption
