Job Summary:
Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Data & AI Engineer with extensive experience in data engineering and Generative AI frameworks. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable data pipelines, enable intelligent automation, and develop AI-driven solutions using modern frameworks and cloud-native tools.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop robust ETL pipelines and data workflows across structured and unstructured data sources.
• Implement and optimize process mining solutions using tools like Celonis or UiPath Process Mining.
• Build and maintain data models, data lakes, and data warehouses to support analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and transformation using SQL, Python, Spark, and cloud-native tools (e.g., BigQuery, Azure, AWS).
• Develop and deploy Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using frameworks such as Langchain, LangGraph, Autogen, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, and SmolAgents.
• Integrate and fine-tune LLMs (e.g., Llama, OpenAI, Google Gemini) and manage vector databases like Pinecone or PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intelligent, scalable, and secure AI solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8-10 years of experience in data engineering, process mining, and hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks.
• Design and develop robust ETL pipelines and data workflows across structured and unstructured data sources.

• Build and maintain data models, data lakes, and data warehouses to support analytics and reporting.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Hands-on experience with process mining tools (Celonis, UiPath Process Mining).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data lakes/warehouses, and data visualization.
• Practical experience with Generative AI frameworks and LLMs.
• Familiarity with vector databases and AI agent orchestration frameworks.
Preferred:
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Next.js.
