Job Summary:
Rubrik offers live data access for recovery and application development by fusing enterprise data management with web-scale IT. The Hawkeye team is responsible for providing the indexing infrastructure for critical workloads, supporting features related to search, browse, and download capabilities, as well as ML-based security applications.
Responsibilities:
• Full stack ownership including design, implementation, and testing of new features that are reliable and performant
• Troubleshoot issues experienced by customers and internal product testing, and providing robust solutions
• Collaborate with partner teams such as Product Management and Support to define the product vision and roadmap
• Nurture team culture, which sets high standards and achieves them through collaboration
Qualifications:
Required:
• BS or MS in Computer science or related field with 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Required experience working with file system internals and low level systems programming.
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C , Go, Scala, Python or Java.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems design
• Enjoy learning new technologies continuously and rapidly reinventing your skill set
• Experience working with two or more from the following: Unix/Linux environments, Windows environments, distributed systems, networking, developing software systems, file systems, hypervisors and/or security software development
