Job Summary:
DK Law is a modern injury and accident law firm that prioritizes client experience and a supportive workplace culture. They are seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to provide exceptional technical support and customer service to internal users, managing user workstations and ensuring a secure IT environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users via phone, email, remote tools, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and other end-user applications.
• Set up user desks including monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and cable management.
• Perform desk moves and coordinate workspace readiness.
• Ensuring accurate inventory tracking and asset tagging.
• Maintain documentation of support requests and resolutions in accordance with ITIL practices.
• Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes including account setup, equipment provisioning, and access management.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures, including MFA and endpoint protection.
• Use remote support and endpoint management tools to assist users and manage devices.
• Contribute to internal knowledge base articles and self-service documentation.
• Role may include other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2 years of experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a user-centric mindset.
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles and service management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and cloud-based productivity tools.
• Experience with hardware setup, troubleshooting, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and endpoint management platforms.
• Understanding of security best practices including MFA, conditional access, and endpoint protection.
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed for desk setups and relocations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and contribute to process improvements.
Preferred:
• Preferred knowledge of audio & visual systems.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) for task automation.
