Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to help secure cloud infrastructure and develop security architectures for critical systems. The role involves operating, securing, and monitoring cloud environments while ensuring compliance with DoD requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Operating, securing, and monitoring the cloud infrastructure
• System hardening
• Patching
• Vulnerability management
• Understanding and translating the DoD requirements from the stakeholders to the technical teams
• Ensuring the solutions have met the requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2 years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and applications
• 2 years of experience with linux or Windows Server
• 1 year of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, Cloud formation, or Configuration as Code, including AWS SSM, Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash
• Knowledge of cloud security and best practices
• Knowledge of AWS networking
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred:
• Experience in enterprise level security, such as Domains, DNS, Group Policy Objects, or Single Sign-On
• Experience with firewalls and VPN solutions
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
• AWS Certifications
