Job Summary:
Speechmatics is a leading expert in Speech Intelligence, utilizing AI and Machine Learning to transform human speech into business value. They are seeking a Developer Relations Manager to engage the developer community, advocate for their needs, and ensure they have the necessary resources to leverage the company's Conversational AI technology.
Responsibilities:
• Cultivate and grow a passionate community of developers through online forums, social media, events, and meet-ups.
• Represent the voice of the developer community within Speechmatics, ensuring their feedback is heard and acted upon. Work across teams to ensure the developer experience is continually optimised.
• Develop and deliver high-quality content, including tutorials, blog posts, webinars, and documentation to help developers understand and utilise our technology.
• Provide technical support and guidance to developers, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, influencers, and other stakeholders to expand our reach and impact.
• Act as a spokesperson for Speechmatics at conferences, hackathons, and other industry events, showcasing the potential of our technology.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience in developer relations, community management, or a similar role within the tech industry.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.
• Track-record of collaborating with internal engineering and product teams, to ensure community feedback is used to continuously improve our products, documentation, and developer tools.
• A genuine passion for technology and a desire to help others succeed.
• Solid understanding of speech technology, AI, and machine learning.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with developers, partners, and industry leaders.
• Experience with technical writing and documentation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment and adapt to changing priorities.
