Job Summary:

The Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the data infrastructure, collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and developers to optimize data for marketing and business analytics.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain our databases, data warehouses, and related systems
• Optimize database performance and automate tuning for speed, scale, and reliability
• Design and implement data retention, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Develop and maintain database documentation, standards, and governance practices
• Work with cross-functional teams to design efficient data models and pipelines
• Manage roles, permissions, and data access policies to ensure security and compliance
• Automate database management tasks using scripting and orchestration tools
• Support the design of data flows from marketing platforms, CRM, and internal tools
• Participate in data audits and performance reviews to ensure data quality and accuracy
• Stay current on data warehousing best practices
Qualifications:
Required:
• At least 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator, Data Engineer, or similar role
• 2 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, Redshift, and Postgres, including data modeling, security, and performance tuning
• Expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
• Expertise working in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data integration tools (Temporal, Airflow)
• Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and orchestration
• Experience deploying and managing data governance, data privacy, and security best practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, small-team environment
• Strong documentation and communication skills
