What will your day look like here?
- Handle all phases of defense in workers’ compensation matters- from intake and investigation, through discovery, depositions, trials, settlement negotiations.
- Represent clients in cases involving Labor Code § 132a, serious & willful misconduct allegations, etc.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents with precision.
- Work closely with clients (employers, carriers, administrators, municipalities) to counsel them on risk, strategy, and liability.
- Liaise with medical experts, investigators, adjusters, and court personnel.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in California workers’ compensation law and practice.
- Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $160,000–$200,000 , commensurate with your experience and billable goals. Generous origination bonuses and additional hours bonuses offered that will directly reward your impact.
