Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on welding experience (stick, MIG, or torch cutting), ideally in construction, demolition, or industrial environments
- Ability to read the job site, follow direction, and work effectively within a crew
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with heavy equipment and tools
- High awareness of safety practices and ability to operate responsibly in hazardous environments
- Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and performing demanding labor for extended periods
- Dependable, hard-working, and able to show up ready to contribute each day
- Welding certifications or formal training are a plus, but not required
- Perform welding and cutting tasks to support active demolition projects, including structural breakdown and equipment modifications
- Operate torches, welding equipment, and other tools to safely dismantle steel and metal components on-site
- Work closely with project managers and field crews to execute daily job site objectives efficiently
- Assist with rigging, equipment setup, and general site preparation as needed
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Adapt to changing job site conditions, timelines, and project scopes in a fast-paced environment
- Travel to various job sites and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
