Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth objectives
- Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and insights to senior leadership and the board of directors
- Manage the company's cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure plans
- Lead the financial due diligence process for potential collaborations, mergers, and acquisitions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders

Job Details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position
- Strong knowledge of biotech industry dynamics, including IPO, collaboration, and M&A experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing financial operations and driving strategic initiatives
- Biotech experience required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting requirements, including GAAP and SEC guidelines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on developing and motivating a high-performing team
