Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and treasury.
- Oversee the preparation of all financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, and ensure compliance.
- Establish and implement a financial planning process, including annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to develop financial strategies and make informed financial decisions.
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
- Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities, including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports.
- Manage the physical inventory process, ensuring accurate tracking, valuation, and reporting.
- Understand and manage the Bill of Materials and manufacturing cost structures to ensure accurate product costing and profitability analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the Distribution or Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials, Manufacturing, Cost, and Physical Inventory.
- Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
- An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills.
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
