We are hiring experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants across multiple North Carolina locations, including dedicated clinic roles and float roles. Some openings offer sign-on bonuses up to $25K, while float positions offer an additional $15/hr differential instead.
The goal is simple: talk through where you live, what schedule you want, what income target makes sense, and which location is actually worth your time.

Job Details
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll evaluate and treat patients in a busy urgent care setting, including common acute care visits, minor injuries, occupational medicine, procedures, diagnostics, and walk-in patient needs.
Typical work may include:
Urgent care evaluations and treatment
Suturing, splinting, wound care, and minor procedures
X-ray, EKG, labs, and diagnostic interpretation
Treating acute illness and injuries
Patient education and follow-up recommendations
Working collaboratively with clinical and operations leadership
Schedule Options
Dedicated urgent care roles typically follow a rotating schedule:
Week 1: 3 twelve-hour shifts
Week 2: 2 twelve-hour shifts 2 eight-hour shifts
Week 3: 3 twelve-hour shifts
Week 4: 2 twelve-hour shifts 2 eight-hour shifts
Float roles are generally:
3 twelve-hour shifts
No weekends
$15/hr float differential
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
At least 1 year of Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine, experience
