We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our firm. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of our tax department, ensuring compliance with international tax laws, and optimizing our tax position. The ideal candidate will be a tax expert with a deep understanding of international tax, 1040, 1065, passthroughs, foreign, and abroad. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience of tax review.
Responsibilities:
Review individual, partnership and corporate taxes
Assist with client tax planning
Manage engagements with tax clients
Manage, train and mentor junior staff
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA Required
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or a related role, with a strong focus on international tax.
3. Expertise in international tax, 1040, 1065, passthroughs, foreign, and abroad.
4. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them to business decisions.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
