Job Title: Staff Accountant
Job Location: 100% REMOTE **Must reside in the US in either HST or PST**
Salary: $60k-$70k base salary 10% bonus Comprehensive Benefits 401k with Match
Must have:
• Entry-level with Bachelors degree in Accounting -- OR -- Professional accounting experience
• Experience with GAAP standards, Advanced Excel (V-lookups), and has had exposure to budgeting and forecasting
Nice-to-Have:
• Property Accounting experience

This is a backfill opportunity due to an upcoming retirement, offering a smooth transition and strong training support. This role is ideal for an early-career accountant looking to build experience in property accounting, budgeting, and GAAP-based financials within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must reside in the US in either HST or PST.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with GAAP
· Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
· Support month-end close activities and financial reporting
· Prepare and post journal entries
· Maintain accurate financial records for the assigned property
· Partner with property management and regional accounting teams
Must have:
• Entry-level with Bachelors degree in Accounting -- OR -- Professional accounting experience
• Experience with GAAP standards, Advanced Excel (V-lookups), and has had exposure to budgeting and forecasting
Nice-to-Have:
• Property Accounting experience
