Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Staff Tax Accountant to join our ever-growing CPA Firm. This exciting opportunity involves working with a wide range of tax-related tasks, including real estate tax, federal and state tax, income tax, tax planning, and tax accounting. The successful candidate will work directly with our clients, preparing a variety of tax returns, including individual, partnership, corporate (C and S), estates, trusts, and nonprofits. This role also involves limited bookkeeping to complete tax returns and update clients' books. If you have a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review a variety of tax returns, including individual, partnership, corporate (C and S), estates, trusts, and nonprofits.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Provide expert tax planning services to help clients minimize tax liabilities and ensure future financial stability.
• Perform tax accounting duties, accurately calculating tax liabilities, preparing tax documents, and maintaining tax records.
• Conduct thorough tax reviews to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.
• Assist with limited bookkeeping duties to complete tax returns and update clients' books.
• Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to your work.
• Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients.
  

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of tax experience.
• 4-year Accounting degree is required.
• CPA preferred or on the CPA track.
• Extensive experience with real estate tax, federal and state tax, income tax, tax planning, and tax accounting.
• Proven experience preparing a variety of tax returns, including individual, partnership, corporate (C and S), estates, trusts, and nonprofits.
• Experience with limited bookkeeping to complete tax returns and update clients' books.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
