As a Permanent Senior Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of our company's construction projects, leading teams and coordinating efforts to ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. This is a pivotal role that requires a dynamic individual who can seamlessly integrate into our fast-paced, high-energy environment and drive results.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management from inception to completion, including the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
3. Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
4. Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
5. Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
6. Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
7. Establish and implement project communication plans, ensuring the project's progress is communicated to all stakeholders effectively.
8. Procure the necessary resources and materials for project execution.
9. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
10. Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry, specifically with Industrial Construction, Heavy Commercial Construction, Commercial Construction, and ground-up construction.
3. Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful project from start to finish.
4. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in construction and development.
5. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
8. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
9. PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
10. Ability to lead and inspire a team, with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
