Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert and strategic legal advice in various family law matters including divorce, matrimonial disputes, child custody, alimony, and property settlements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and in negotiations, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices are heard.
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Conduct thorough case research and analysis to develop effective strategies.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure cases are managed efficiently.
• Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Stay updated on developments in family law and participate in continuing legal education programs.
  

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on divorce and family law.
• Proven track record in handling complex divorce and family law cases.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and courtroom demeanor.
• Knowledge of family law rules and procedures, as well as local court protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
• Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
