We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting and finance team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of our growing organization, where you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring our accounting procedures comply with regulations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in ASC 842 and have a solid understanding of GAAP and FASB standards. Experience in reviewing lease contracts to determine proper accounting, implementing, and maintaining contract software, and filing required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in ASC 842 and have a solid understanding of GAAP and FASB standards. Experience in reviewing lease contracts to determine proper accounting, implementing, and maintaining contract software, and filing required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, your key duties will include
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyzing financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Reviewing lease contracts to determine proper accounting treatment in accordance with GAAP and FASB standards.
- Implementing and maintaining contract software to ensure efficiency and accuracy in accounting procedures.
- Filing required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial procedures.
- Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and legal standards.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a accounting role.
- Proficiency in Sage 100, EZLease, Brex, FloQast. Knowledge in other accounting software is a plus.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and FASB standards.
- Proven experience in reviewing lease contracts and implementing and maintaining contract software.
- Demonstrated ability to file required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
