What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and end users
- Identify project opportunities and provide technical sales support for building automation and controls systems
- Assist with system design, product selection, and control strategies for HVAC and energy management applications
- Prepare proposals, estimates, and submittals aligned with project specifications and customer needs
- Collaborate with internal engineering, programming, and service teams to ensure successful project execution
- Support project turnover, including coordination with field teams and customer expectations
- Stay engaged throughout the project lifecycle to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
What You Bring
- 3 years of experience in BAS, HVAC controls, or technical sales within the commercial building space
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, DDC controls, and building automation applications
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, specifications, and sequences of operation
- Experience working with engineers, contractors, or facility teams in a consultative sales environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to build long-term relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and prioritize opportunities
Nice to Have
- Experience with BAS platforms such as Niagara, Distech, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or similar
- Background in controls design, programming, or commissioning
- Familiarity with energy efficiency solutions or high-performance building systems
