Job Details

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. As a Float Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments and settings, providing essential care to patients in need. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality patient care in various departments and settings, including emergency rooms, intensive care units, and medical-surgical units.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with established protocols and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Monitor and document patient progress, symptoms, and vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and documentation.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest healthcare practices and technology.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Staff RN or Float Nurse.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification preferred.
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of current healthcare practices and technology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and learn quickly.
