Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of multifamily construction projects.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Adhere to all building codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure the project runs smoothly.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry, specifically with multifamily projects.
- Proven experience with podium style construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining control of project execution.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and lead teams.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Understanding of construction laws and regulations.
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
