We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the multifamily construction sector. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about construction and eager to take on the challenges of managing large-scale projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in multifamily construction and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project life cycle from conception to completion. This includes design coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of podium style construction and will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and implementation of multifamily construction projects.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Adhere to all building codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure the project runs smoothly.
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry, specifically with multifamily projects.
• Proven experience with podium style construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining control of project execution.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and lead teams.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Understanding of construction laws and regulations.
• Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
