We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. You will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates that will inform our business decisions and strategies. Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, taking into account materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements.
3. Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
4. Work closely with project stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, and ensure these are reflected in the project plan and cost estimates.
5. Monitor project progress, and make adjustments as needed to ensure project stays on track.
6. Prepare and present reports on project progress, costs, and outcomes.
7. Identify and mitigate project risks, and resolve any issues that may arise.
8. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, and lead by example.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager / Estimator, or in a similar role.
2. Proven experience in managing projects from inception to completion, and preparing detailed cost estimates.
3. Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
6. Proficient in the use of project management and estimation software.
7. A degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration is preferred.
8. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPE (Certified Professional Estimator) are a plus.
