The Role
We are seeking a Utilities Specialist to be responsible for the reliable and efficient operation of all plant utility systems supporting our beverage operations. This role ensures the continuous operation of mission-critical systems while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

The Role
We are seeking a Utilities Specialist to be responsible for the reliable and efficient operation of all plant utility systems supporting our beverage operations. This role ensures the continuous operation of mission-critical systems while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Utilities Maintenance: Operate and maintain boilers, steam systems, air compressors, and dryers.
- HVAC Systems: Troubleshoot and maintain chillers, cooling towers, and air handlers.
- Water Systems: Monitor and maintain Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Deionized (DI) water systems, including filtration and softening.
- Quality Support: Perform routine water sampling and testing for conductivity, pH, and microbiological indicators to support food safety.
- Compliance: Maintain regulatory compliance for wastewater and assist with environmental reporting related to usage and emissions.
- Corrective Action: Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic utility issues using CMMS schedules.
- Capital Projects: Assist with utility-related installations and system upgrades to support plant growth.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in utilities or maintenance within food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with boilers, steam, HVAC, and RO/DI water systems.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work off-shifts, weekends, or on-call as required by production needs.
- Boiler Operator License or certification.
- HVAC certification (EPA Universal or equivalent).
- Basic electrical and controls knowledge.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
