We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of our manufacturing plant. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to join a growing organization in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in food manufacturing, safety protocols, operations, scheduling, and capital projects. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient processes that produce high-quality products while meeting all safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the plant, ensuring all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to, providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Manage and optimize scheduling to meet production deadlines and customer requirements.
• Lead and manage capital projects, coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets to achieve project objectives.
• Collaborate with various departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Human Resources to ensure the plant's goals are met.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain a positive, productive, and compliant work environment.
• Prepare, analyze, and present operational reports to senior management.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience in operations, scheduling, and capital project management.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations within the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in using various software applications including MS Office and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• Certification in Project Management or Lean Six Sigma would be an advantage.
