Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across utility systems including:
- Boilers
- HVAC
- Compressed Air
- Glycol
- Chilled Water
- Wastewater
- Reverse Osmosis (RO)
- Nitrogen Systems
- Manage facility infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with engineering, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Plan and coordinate major plant shutdown activities.
- Lead capital projects from scope development through execution and closeout.
- Manage projects ranging from approximately $5,000 to $50 million.
- Partner with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, EHS, and external contractors.
- Support plant expansion and infrastructure initiatives.
- Maintain engineering documentation and technical drawings.
- Develop and maintain long-range capital plans.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering environments.
- Experience leading capital and infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in utility systems engineering and facility infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of engineering compliance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple capital projects from concept through completion.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, EHS, contractors, and engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Food and beverage manufacturing experience.
- Aseptic manufacturing experience.
- FDA-regulated utility systems knowledge.
- CMMS experience, preferably Infor or Hexagon EAM.
- PE License.
- PMP Certification.
- Minimal travel capability (0–5%).
