With over 20 attorneys and 50 support staff members, they are able to handle a wide variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, Labor Law, workers' compensation, product liability, and more. Our client is seeking a litigation support professional to assist with trial preparation and ensure cases are organized, up-to-date, and ready for presentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing both legal documents and communication with clients, medical providers, and expert witnesses.
In this role, you will review ongoing discovery, identify when additional disclosures are required, and prepare supplemental exchanges whenever new information or records become available. You will help assemble all materials needed for trial, including preparing medical and trial-related exchanges, organizing exhibits into clear, chronological trial binders, and drafting the full range of trial documents such as demands, subpoenas, expert disclosures, and other required filings.
You will also be responsible for reviewing and updating client medical records, ensuring all materials are current and properly maintained within the case management system. The position includes coordinating with physicians and expert witnesses regarding scheduling and trial availability, as well as requesting radiological materials or other items necessary for trial preparation.
Additional duties include providing status updates to attorneys and clients, arranging medical follow-ups and obtaining updated reports, and preparing correspondence to third parties to support legal requests or resolve outstanding issues.
