Job Details
Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual design packages during early-stage project development.
- Collaborate with renewable energy developers and clients, supporting project scheduling and cost estimating efforts.
- Design structural foundations using industry-standard software (e.g., LPILE or equivalent).
- Develop structural steel models for rigid bus systems and equipment support structures.
- Execute and support internal QA/QC processes to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 3 years of civil/structural engineering experience performing design calculations.
- Proficiency with drafting tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation preferred.
- Experience in transmission, distribution, or power generation projects is required.
- Strong analytical and computer skills with the ability to identify and utilize appropriate design software.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
