Job Details
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. As the Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients. This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including prescription dispensing, medication therapy management, and inventory management.
2. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and promote medication adherence.
4. Provide counseling to patients on the safe and appropriate use of medications.
5. Supervise pharmacy staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pharmacy operations.
7. Maintain accurate and complete records of all pharmacy transactions and activities.
8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication management processes.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and incorporate evidence-based guidelines into daily practice.
10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications:
1. Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD degree preferred.
2. Must possess a valid pharmacist license in good standing.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting.
4. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, practices, and regulations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
7. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
8. Proficient in using pharmacy software and technology.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
