The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess a strong skillset in Legal Research, Legal Assisting, Intake Calls, Maintaining client files, and Attorney scheduling. Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case management, including drafting and filing legal documents
- Conduct intake calls with clients and gather necessary information for their cases
- Maintain and organize client files, including electronic and physical files
- Schedule appointments and court appearances for attorneys
- Communicate with clients and other parties involved in cases, including opposing counsel and court personnel
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for attorneys
- Assist with billing and invoicing for clients
- Other administrative tasks as assigned
- At least 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
