He has received extensive training in all aspects of Cosmetic Surgery and Non-Surgical Rejuvenation. Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic medical team. As a Permanent Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional care to patients in need. This is a permanent position in the medical industry, offering stability and growth opportunities for the right candidate. If you are an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in wound care and adult geriatric care, we want to hear from you. This candidate will see up to 30 multisystem patients a day.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide primary care services to patients, including but not limited to wound care, medication management, and health education.
- Perform minor procedures, such as wound debridement and suturing, under the supervision of a physician.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in medical practices and technologies, participating in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to provide a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification.
- Specialization in wound care and adult geriatric care.
- Strong knowledge of wound care management techniques, including assessment, treatment, and prevention.
- Proficiency in performing minor procedures, such as wound debridement and suturing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to make sound clinical judgments.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest advancements in medical practices.
M-F 8a-5p and 2 Saturdays a month
