We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Plumber to join our dynamic team in the industry. This position offers a great opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their talents in a new and exciting environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Master Plumber, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Performing routine maintenance of plumbing systems in our commercial buildings, ensuring all installations are up to code and functioning efficiently.
2. Interpreting blueprints, building codes, and specifications to map layouts for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
3. Installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
4. Locating and marking positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
5. Collaborating with our finance team to provide cost-effective solutions, manage budgets, and ensure the timely completion of projects.
6. Providing expert advice and consultation on plumbing matters, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of our installations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this Master Plumber position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A valid Master Plumber License in NH or VT.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Master Plumber, preferably in a commercial setting.
3. Proven experience with installations, building codes, and piping systems.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems, including troubleshooting and emergency response.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex plumbing concepts to non-technical audiences.
7. A strong understanding of the financial implications of plumbing projects, with the ability to work within budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions.
