Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys on mass tort cases.
- Manage a high volume of cases from start to finish, including initial client intake, drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Conduct extensive legal research and fact-checking to assist attorneys in case preparation.
- Maintain and update case files, ensuring all relevant information is easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Coordinate with expert witnesses and other outside parties as needed.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal in litigation or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, or a related field. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferable.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
- Familiarity with state and federal court rules and procedures.
