Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Lead and sustain Lean manufacturing initiatives across production and support functions
Drive daily management routines, visual performance tracking, and accountability systems
Identify and eliminate waste using Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, SMED, standard work, and value/material flow analysis
Coach teams in structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
Improve key performance metrics including OEE, yield, scrap, throughput, and cost
Partner with Operations and Maintenance to support TPM, reliability, and equipment performance
Support process optimization, layout improvements, pull systems, and inventory control
Ensure improvements are documented, standardized, and sustained
Champion safety, quality, and compliance in all improvement activities
Train and coach employees at all levels to build long-term continuous improvement capability
What Success Looks Like
Improved plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Increased process stability and standard work adherence
Strong engagement and problem-solving capability across the organization
Sustainable improvements—not one-time fixes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of Lean / Continuous Improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred)
Experience in heavy manufacturing and/or union environments a plus
