Are you passionate about precision manufacturing and have a keen eye for detail? We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool and die, grinding, manual milling, troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and precision measurement. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities:
As a Manual Machinist, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Operating and maintaining manual milling machines, lathes, and grinders to produce precision parts.
2. Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and engineering plans to ensure accurate production.
3. Using precision measurement tools to inspect and ensure parts meet specified tolerances.
4. Troubleshooting and resolving machining issues promptly to minimize downtime.
5. Performing tool and die tasks, including fabrication, repair, and modification.
6. Grinding and finishing workpieces to meet specified dimensions and surface finish requirements.
7. Collaborating with the engineering team to optimize machining processes and improve product quality.
8. Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manual Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in operating manual milling machines, lathes, and grinders.
3. Extensive experience with tool and die, grinding, and precision measurement.
4. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve machining issues effectively.
5. Excellent blueprint reading skills and the ability to interpret complex engineering plans.
6. High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
7. A strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
