Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians across 2nd shift operations
- Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment uptime and reliability
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, and production equipment issues
- Support TPM, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize production downtime
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, food manufacturing, and plant operational standards
- Monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, OEE, and equipment performance metrics
- Utilize CMMS systems for work orders, scheduling, reporting, and maintenance tracking
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Production, QA, and Engineering teams
- Assist with budgeting, maintenance planning, and capital improvement projects
- Support emergency maintenance needs, including occasional extended hours or weekends as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLCs, instrumentation, and industrial maintenance systems
- Experience within food manufacturing or highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred
- Hands-on experience with TPM, preventive/predictive maintenance, and reliability programs
- Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and plant safety regulations required
- AutoCAD experience is a plus
