A bit about us:
Our client is a privately held precision forging manufacturer serving some of the most demanding industries in the world including aerospace, defense, oil and gas, power generation, and transportation. With decades of operational history and a reputation built on engineering excellence, this company produces high integrity forged metal components including seamless rolled rings, open die forgings, hubs, shafts, gears, and discs from materials such as aluminum, titanium, steel, and nickel based specialty alloys.
This is a tight knit, operationally focused team of roughly 50 to 200 professionals who take serious pride in the quality and precision of everything they produce. Their products end up in jet engines, power turbines, and critical defense applications — meaning the work done inside these walls genuinely matters.
Why join us?
This is a rare opportunity to plant roots in a stable, specialized manufacturing environment where your skills are valued and visible. You will not be one mechanic among hundreds your contributions will have a direct impact on production uptime and operational performance.
Additional reasons to consider this role:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy industrial production equipment including forging presses, ring rolling mills, induction heating systems, heat treat furnaces, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures to minimize production downtime. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. Maintain accurate work order documentation within a CMMS platform. Communicate proactively with production supervisors and engineering staff. Adhere strictly to Cal OSHA and internal safety protocols at all times.
