If you answered yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our company, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are performing at their highest efficiency. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in electrical systems.

Responsibilities
As a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic, your primary duties will include
- Performing regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with machinery and equipment, applying your knowledge of automation and injection molding.
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of mechanical maintenance policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
- Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Documenting work performed and maintaining equipment history records using a computerized maintenance management system.
- Participating in ongoing technical training and development opportunities to remain current on industry standards and new technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with automation, injection molding, and electrical systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using a computerized maintenance management system for record-keeping.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing technical training and development opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in mechanical or electrical systems is a plus.
